Hostel stays - the interactions with travellers around the world come instinctly like the days of old in Thailand. I didn't realise how much I had missed it until you sit by the fireplace (it's bleedy cold here at nights!) and just chat away with total strangers.

Bed & Breakfast - the friendly owners and comfortable beds are always a draw although it'll set us back by 10 Euros per person compared to hostel stays.
