I just met an owner of a car wash outlet.  He has 2 German Shepherds and 2 wives.  Handling Sprite, who licked him enthusiastically as always,  with complete ease, he shared about his lives in Colombia and Singapore where he shuttles to and fro between his two families and businesses.  I'd thought he was Thai initially because of the numerous Thai idols I saw on an altar at the facade of the car wash outlet.  He told me he is Malay.   Sensing my nervousness while watching Sprite play with him, he mentioned that as long as one's heart is clean, God will listen to his prayers.  Yes, he added that he does wash himself before he prays.  How cool is that!   

If everyone is able to look beyond the ceremonials like he does, my dream of bringing Sprite around freely will become a reality.
