This is for those of you who think I don't work except bum around the pool, my L-shaped sofa and my Queen-size bed.
That is my desk above at my workplace which I report to 3 times a week in the mornings. There I mind kids from 13 to 17 years of age. Among my colleagues, we always joke that we spend more time with the kids in school than most of their parents actually do. Well, that's modern city lifestyle commitment for you.
Anyway, this morning, I got inspired to put up some photos and posters to decorate the drab looking board facing me. I also brought in this mini-fridge spotting a Windows Office logo and a loud pink body - well, I got this free when I bought my XBox360 last year and was expecting a blue shade for the shell. Imagine my shock when I saw the pink! Sitting beside it,you can catch a peek of the severely under-utilised basketball. Yes, that's a tin of lollipops which I use occasionally to bribe my charges. Those drink bottles near that green box? They are for a wacky warm-up game called Big Gulp which I play with the classes I meet.
So there you have it! My workdesk at my workplace.
P.S. I also work in the afternoons til late evenings on most days as well!
